Yep, pretty soon, in less than a month's time South Africans will be going to the polls. I guess everyone knows, the ANC is split up. The current ANC supports Jacob Zuma and those that split off from the ANC, formed a new party called COPE. They were strong Thabo Mbeki supporters. Loads of people have said they'll be voting for COPE (Congress of the People), but I don't know. I was never a fan of Mbeki, so voting for a party that supported him, is out of the question. Neither of those two parties will be getting my vote.
My vote will be going to the DA (Democratic Alliance). Yes, they are accused of being a party for the white man, but that's a load of bull if ever you saw one. Also, Helen Zille from the DA is doing a sterling job as the mayor of Cape Town. She even won an award as best mayor in the world!! What an achievement!
Funny seeing all the politicians making their empty promises to the people. The latest strategy is visiting churches! Zuma has done it, was allowed on the pulpit and Bantu Holomisa I think. I think that's downright low. The pulpit is there for preaching God's word, not to be used as a political podium.
Bring on 22nd of April, this girl wants to vote!!! ![]()
And for all the Saffas in the UK, pleeeeaaaaase ![]()
